This powdered oolong comes from Anxi (安溪) in Fujian province, the home of one of China’s most famous teas – Tie Guan Yin (铁观音). This tea is traditionally associated with lightly oxidized oolong, known for its floral aroma, lightness, and natural sweetness.

The base consists of high-quality Tie Guan Yin leaves, processed using traditional oolong methods – partial oxidation, careful shaping, and drying. The tea is then finely ground into powder, allowing the entire leaf to be consumed and offering a new way to experience this classic tea.

The flavor profile retains the character typical of lighter oolongs: delicate floral notes reminiscent of orchids, a smooth texture, and a lightly creamy touch, complemented by sweet and fresh nuances. In powdered form, the tea feels fuller and more expressive, while still maintaining its elegance and clarity.

The powdered form allows for quick and simple preparation. The tea can be mixed with water, whisked in a bowl, or used as an ingredient in beverages and dishes. Thanks to its aromatic profile, it works well not only for direct consumption, but also in modern gastronomy – for example in desserts, milk-based drinks, or creative recipes. Due to its good solubility, easy dosing, and consistent flavor, it is also suitable for broader applications, including industrial use.

Tea profile:
• origin: Anxi (安溪), Fujian, China
• cultivar: Tie Guan Yin (铁观音)
• processing: lightly oxidized oolong, finely ground
• form: powder
• flavor: floral, smooth, lightly creamy, sweet

Brewing:
Use approximately 1–2 g of tea per 150–200 ml of water at 80–90 °C and mix or whisk until smooth. Can also be prepared cold or with milk.

Note:
This tea is based on traditional Tie Guan Yin, but in powdered form it offers a new, modern way of preparation and use.
