The Releasing Support tincture is based on the traditional Chinese medicine formula Tong Yao Zhui Tang (通腰追痛汤). In TCM, it is associated with patterns described as Yao Tong (腰痛), referring to discomfort in the lower back and lower limbs, often linked to blockages of energy and blood.
These patterns are traditionally connected with blood stasis Xue Yu (血瘀) and the influence of pathogenic factors Feng (风 – wind), Han (寒 – cold) and Shi (湿 – dampness), which may obstruct natural movement in the musculoskeletal system. More
