The Clearing the Reservoir tincture is based on the traditional Chinese medicine formula Gu Zhen Jia Mai Ya Wan (固真加麦芽丸). It is traditionally associated with patterns related to the lower burner (Xia Jiao 下焦), particularly imbalances involving the Kidneys (Shen 肾) and the urinary system. In TCM theory, these conditions may involve slowed movement of Qi (气), fluids Jin Ye (津液), and the formation of blockages that disturb the body’s natural balance.

The formula also includes Serenoa repens, traditionally associated with supporting natural balance in the male system. The tincture is designed as a harmonising blend rooted in traditional Chinese medicine principles. More

In TCM theory, these conditions may involve slowed movement of Qi (气), fluids Jin Ye (津液), and the formation of blockages that disturb the body’s natural balance.

Composition

Tu Si Zi (菟丝子), Jin Ying Zi (金樱子), Fu Ling (茯苓), Mu Li (牡蛎), Mai Ya (麦芽), Serenoa repens.

Dosage

Shake well before use; slight cloudiness is natural. The daily dose is approximately 1 drop per 1 kg of body weight, divided into two doses (morning and evening). Take on an empty stomach, ideally at least 30 minutes before meals or one hour after meals. Dosage should be adjusted to individual needs.

Effects according to traditional Chinese medicine

In traditional Chinese medicine, this formula is associated with patterns such as Kidney Yang deficiency (Shen Yang Xu 肾阳虚), damp-heat (Shi Re 湿热), and blood stasis (Xue Yu 血瘀) in the lower burner (Xia Jiao 下焦). It is traditionally linked to supporting the movement of Qi (气), draining excess fluids Jin Ye (津液), and harmonising Kidney function (Shen 肾).
