This rare black tea is made using leaves from wild ancient tea trees that are over 350 years old. Large-leaf Assamica Da Ye Zhong cultivar leaves are traditionally used for making Puerh. A bud and two leaves are harvested in the early Spring. Dry leaves are brown in colour with golden tips. It has a very distinctive and mesmerising floral and fruity aroma with wild forest flavours and a strong Qi.
