As always, once in a while a book catches our eye on the book market and is thematically at least somewhat connected to tea or tea culture in general, we get the urge to spread awareness about it among our customers. We have recently added two books from the K-A-V-K-A publishing house to the offer. The first book is titled Straw and Silk (Junichi Saga) and it brings a fascinating story of a diverse group of people about life in Japan in the early twentieth century. The title of the second book is Wabi-sabi for Artists, Designers, Poets and Philosophers (Leonard Koren). Wabi-sabi is the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. It is the beauty of things humble and simple. The beauty of unusual things.
