The tea is based on a Jin Xuan 金萱 (T-12) cultivar that is very often used for the Milk Oolong due to the creamy and slightly milky taste and mouthfeel. The tea is based on a Jin Xuan 金萱 (T-12) cultivar that is very often used for the Milk Oolong due to the creamy and slightly milky taste and mouthfeel. This very special Oolong has been blended with a small amount of ginseng and it produces a fragrant cup with a lovely clean floral taste. This very Oolong has another special ingredient, which is powdered leaf of Xiang Si Teng 相思藤. This herb introduces a unique floral aroma as well as pleasant natural sweetness to counteract the sourness of ginseng. Both powdered herbs are incorporated during the rolling process, which means nothing less than that the lovely ginseng flavour is present over a number of infusions till the leaves are fully opened. The taste is very floral, sweet and creamy smooth, a bit spicy.
