This beautiful Oolong tea gives off a golden brandy luminosity when steeped, with a texture that is slightly viscous and syrupy. while in your mouth, the taste could remind you of lychee and pears while it finishes smooth, but sligtly dry with lingering juiciness afterwards leaving you a little woozy and high.

High in the hills of Nepal, 1839 m above sea level, about 12 kilometers from Ilaam bazaar and then a couple of kilometers off-road toward the right side of the highway will take you to Jasbire village. A very small village with a population of about 150-something households scattered from one corner to another within a huge hilly landscape of Jasbire will surely take you back in time. It’s like a medieval period. The village is popular for the teas grown and produced here.
