An effective blend for imbalances caused by Feng Re and Nei Re (wind and internal heat), Huo (fire), or Shi Re (damp heat). It is based on the Huang Lian Jie Du Wan blend. The cork tree has been replaced with chrysanthemum and common selfheal, which expands the blend's effect in the upper burner, head, and eyes. From vital mushrooms, we have chosen Phellinus for its ability to cool Wei Re (stomach fire). Its nature is cold and, with its tropism to the Liver, Stomach, and Large Intestine, it can disperse fire, which bothers the Shen spirit. It is particularly useful for constitutionally excessive types with stomach and gallbladder problems, high blood pressure, insomnia, and irritability. It is suitable as part of a home and travel first aid kit. More
