Jade Dew Balm (Feng You Jing) is a traditional formulation based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which also defines its traditionally described effects and methods of use. This natural oil with a cooling, menthol aroma has long been used in Asia within the TCM tradition for a wide range of everyday discomforts, such as itching, redness and swelling after insect bites, motion sickness, headaches, nasal congestion (including allergic rhinitis), muscle fatigue, and localized musculoskeletal discomfort; it is also traditionally associated with supporting focus during study or long periods of driving. According to TCM, it has a cooling nature, “clears Heat,” relieves pain, dispels Wind, and alleviates itching. Jade Dew Balm - Natural preparation also known under the Chinese name Feng You Jing

This greenish oil with a characteristic menthol aroma, widely used in Asia, provides relief in many common situations which, although not usually dangerous, can significantly affect everyday comfort, such as:

• redness, swelling, and itching after insect bites or stings (its aroma also repels insects and may act preventively)
• motion sickness during travel
• headaches, especially in the early stages of colds and flu
• nasal congestion, including allergic rhinitis
• localized musculoskeletal discomfort accompanied by redness or a sensation of warmth
• mild muscle fatigue or soreness after sports or physical work, when a specialized product such as Zhenggushui is not available

It may also help maintain focus, for example during studying or long-distance driving.

Action according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

Clears Heat through its cooling nature, relieves pain, dispels Wind, and alleviates itching.

Method of Use according to TCM

Apply locally to the affected areas and gently massage into the skin. In many cases, optimal results are achieved by applying Jade Dew Balm directly to specific acupuncture points:

Rhinitis (including allergic rhinitis):

  • nasolabial grooves beside the nostrils (Yingxiang LI20)

  • area between the eyebrows (extra point Yintang)

  • two points on the crown of the head, spaced the width of the pupils apart (Tongtian BL7)

Cold with headache, body aches, and stiff neck:

  • points on both sides of the neck in the depressions below the base of the skull (Fengchi GB20)

  • temple area (extra points Taiyang)

  • muscular prominence on the back of the hand between thumb and index finger (LI4 Hegu)

Motion sickness, feeling of impending faintness:

  • area on the upper lip below the nasal septum (Shuigou GV26)

  • area between the eyebrows (extra point Yintang)

  • points below the knee on the outer side of the tibia (Zusanli ST36)

  • points on the sole of the foot behind the balls of the toes (Yongquan KI1)

Natural menthol, camphor, eucalyptus oil, clove oil, methyl salicylate, chlorophyll, liquid paraffin, and plant-based aromas.

Do not apply to irritated or hypersensitive skin, open wounds, burns, scalds, pressure sores, or oozing or purulent lesions. Do not apply to mucous membranes or sensitive areas such as the eyes, nipples, or genitals. Wash hands after application.

Use with caution during pregnancy and in children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for individuals allergic to any of the ingredients. In children, application should be performed by an adult. Discontinue use immediately if burning, itching, or other discomfort occurs. In cases of severe headache of unknown origin or abnormal reactions after insect bites or stings, this product cannot replace professional medical care—consult a qualified specialist.
