Black Indian tea harvested in late May to early June on the Sourenee plantation, located at an altitude of between 800 and 1300 m above sea level in the Mirik River Valley on the Nepalese border. This is a second harvest Darjeeling with a strong personality, where notes of toasted cereals and salted popcorn highlight a soft, round and fruity base. With a long lingering sweet taste in the mouth and a slight controlled astringency, this tea is a refined delight for every lover of summer Darjeelings. The name Sourenee is a combination of the words "Saur", the name of the tea plant, and "Rani", which means "queen of the valley". Only organic teas are grown in this garden. More
