Rohini is always amongst the first teas of the first harvest of Darjeeling teas thanks to its location at a lower height above sea level, and our tea is amongst the best this garden has to offer. Dry leaves treat us with the scent of a meadow and vegetables. After brewing, these aromas intensify and transform into more fruity ones. The taste of golden tea is dominated by tropical fruits and a hint of honey. In the aftertaste, there is a distinct but non-opaque bitterness. Leaves are nicely preserved, with a large proportion of white tips. They come from the elite B157 cultivar. More
