This competition Dong Ding Qing Xin Oolong 凍頂烏龍茶 is a premium Dong Ding Oolong from the famous Lugu 鹿谷鄉 tea area in Nantou Province, Taiwan. Made from hand-picked leaves of the Green Heart (Qing Xin 青心) cultivar, this tea was selected as the most typical representation of traditional Dong Ding Oolong. As a traditional style of tea, it has undergone a lengthy and complex roasting process to create a tea that has a delicate balance between fresh floral and roasted creamy tones. It was roasted in four waves, with each roasting taking over 10 hours. This batch from the end of 2025 (Winter) received the status of “Five Plum Blossoms” (Wu Duo Mei Hua 五朵梅花) in the competition.
