Xigui Village 昔归 (Manlu Mountain) is located in the easternmost part of Bangdong 邦东 area in Linxiang District (Lincang City), 12 kilometers from Bangdong Village. This green (sheng) Puer is made from leaves coming from 250-300 year old trees. Xigui tea belongs to the large-leaves Bangdong species (Bang Dong Da Wu Ye 邦东大乌叶). Xigui tea is representative of the low altitude among the tea mountains. The aroma of the brewed leaves is quite sharp, but elegant, color of the infusion is golden yellow, body is complex and full, astringency is quite decent. The landscape of Manglu mountain is beautiful and the natural landscape is very charming. The soil is typical red soil along the Lancang River and the forest vegetation is subtropical monsoon forest. Plants such as red toon, camphor, big-leaf fig, olives and wild mangoes are common in the forest.
