Ming Feng Shan is in Lincang, Southwest Yunnan. It is not as known tea location as other tea mountains in Yunnan. You can find here tall trees as old as 400+ years growing peacefully at the altitude of 2100m, which is pretty high even for the Yunnan Highland. The farmers here are producing tea without an excessive commercial chase. A season starts late at the beginning of April due to high altitude. The tall old trees grow without human intervention and receive a very rich content from the Ming Feng Shan soil. The flavor is floral with typical plum notes. The taste is very strong with finished by a long and deep aftertaste. Leaves full of minerals and other quality substances make the tea brewing last (Nai Pao) and also makes the tea very suitable for aging.
