In the pursuit of the real high quality jasmine tea, we bring you this outstanding tea, Bi Tan Piao Xue 碧潭飘雪. This tea is a flagship among jasmine teas. An accurate translation of the name is 'Snowflakes Drifting into Emerald Pond', a description for floating jasmine flowers in the green brew. An excellent organic Qing Ming Mao Feng was selected as a base material. At the end of Summer during the hottest days (when the jasmine has the best fragrance), it was scented with fresh jasmine bud for five to seven times. The final tea has very fascinating and lingering jasmine fragrance. When combined with clean and mellow taste of the high quality Mao Feng, the tea is irresistible. For an appealing look, some dry jasmine buds have been added. The buds did not take part in the scenting process so they are very fragrant.

Chengdu, a capital of Sichuan province, is one of very few Chinese Southern cities which consume a lot of jasmine tea. (In China the most of the jasmine teas are consumed in the Northern cities). The Chengdu people has the tradtion of ‘talking story together’ (Long Men Zhen 龙门阵). During the talks, they drink an enormous amount of jasmine tea.
