008 GUI ZHI TANG WAN More
Action according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM):
-
Supports natural bodily functions in the early stages of a cold
-
Helps in periods of increased vulnerability to external influences, especially during the winter season
Characteristics:
This formula is one of the oldest known formulas in traditional Chinese herbal medicine, originally described in the ancient text Shang Han Lun from the 3rd century AD. Traditionally, it is used in the early stages of a cold, before a high fever sets in. It is particularly suitable for situations when the first signs of a cold appear, such as sweating, chills, or shivering. The formula is also used when the body is more susceptible to infections or when there is a reduced ability to resist external factors (which corresponds to the concept of lowered immunity).
This formula has a long tradition and has proven effective for athletes training in cold conditions, such as swimmers.
Note:
This formula is typically used in the early stages of a cold, when sweating is present but does not lead to significant relief, accompanied by mild fever, chills, and a blocked nose. In cases of significant nasal congestion, the formula can be combined with other products (e.g., formula 001), with the doses of both formulas reduced by half.
Dosage and Usage:
-
For mild symptoms, take 8 pills three times a day.
-
In cases of more pronounced acute conditions, the dosage can be increased to 20-30 pills, 2-3 times in a row, every two hours.
-
After that, continue with a dosage of 8-16 pills 3-4 times a day, depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
