Anhua Pine Needles | Anhua Song Zhen

Hunan province is well known as the home of Golden Flower Hei Cha, although this green tea also comes from the organic garden in the Anhua district. It is based on the large leaf Yuntaishan Daye 云台山大叶 cultivar. Its attractive shape of a pine needle was achieved by careful baking and multi-step twisting. This is not a massive production type of tea, it is quite rare as its manufacturing process is very time and labour intensive. The tea will give you a series of fresh and potent brews. You can recognize nuts, honey and sweet wood, all this packed in flowery peignoir.
