2013 High Mountain Oolong From Taiwan | Tai Wan Gao Shan Wu Long

Amongst experts, High mountain Oolong is uncompromisingly indicated as the “non plus ultra” of all teas. The position at a height of 3500m above sea level, inhabited only by native tribes, guarantees the tea plants complete isolation from any type of pollution. The plantations are enfolded in cloud and mist all year round. The great height above sea level guarantees a large difference in day and night temperatures and thus a greater content of active substances in the tea leaves. The basis of the taste of this masterly tea is deep and full, the finish sweet and silky smooth, and the infusion has a jade-gold colour.
