Po Meai Pu-erh Mini Tuo Cha

| Quality higher class Pu-erh tea pressed into small nests with a weight of approx. 8g, sold in packs of 6. For centuries, the convex shape of Tuo Cha has been one of the most frequently used shapes for pressed Pu-erh. These “nests” exist in all shapes and sizes, with weights ranging from 3g to 3kg. With regard to the weight of the nest the pressings are usually furnished with various fixtures or indentations enabling easier handling and storage. Our small nest, pressed under high pressure, is no problem to divide into portions and use a smaller quantity than 8g, but at this size it is not expected that this will be required. In such a case it is suitable to let hot water do the work for you and extend the brewing time for the first infusion by approximately 30 seconds as against the time for loose Pu-erh teas. The tea offers the dense, moist earthy aroma and taste which is typical of Pu-erh tea, the infusion has a dark brown colour, and several infusions can be produced with regard to the length of brewing and used temperature of water. Amongst the main medicinal properties of Pu-erh teas are reduction of blood cholesterol, aiding digestion and regulation of unhealthy fats in the human body. Traditional Chinese medicine also states that the main properties of Pu-erh tea include an ability to rid the stomach of excess heat and have a generally positive effect on the entire digestive tract. A lesser known quality of these dark teas is their ability to accelerate the sobering process following excessive consumption of alcohol. |

| Prepare tested water for the tea infusion with which you have experience, or use ordinary tap water which has been left standing for a sufficient period, preferably overnight, ideally rid of chlorine. Rinse the teapot and cups with hot water. Prepare 1 piece of Mini Tuo Cha for each 200ml of tea. Pour on hot water at a temperature of 85-90°C (20-30 seconds after boiling) and leave to brew for a period of 60 seconds for the first infusion, 30-60 seconds for the second infusions and 90-120 seconds for the third and fourth infusions. Pour only as much tea as you will consume immediately, do not keep for a longer period, otherwise a large quantity of tannins will be released into the brew. Do not use a metal strainer, this will diminish the energy and biological value of the beverage. |

| Malá hnízdečka jsou velmi dobře skladná. Lístky tohoto čaje jsou jemnější. Nic však neztrácí na chuti a kvalitě.
